Get to Know Us
At New Life Church, we believe that we grow by worshipping together and looking to God's Word, the Bible, to guide and shape our lives.
Our Sunday worship service is at 10:30 am. During the summer, we are taking a break from Sunday School for all ages, but that will return in the fall, before the service, at 9:30am.

available to students in preschool-12th grade in Ortonville Schools in financial need.

Returning for its 17th year, Project Backpack began as a challenge given to a Bible study group in 2008. Members were asked to develop a project that would directly impact their community. Since then, it is estimated that nearly 2,000 children have benefited. The support doesn’t stop after the pickup date. Throughout the year, supplies are made available to the school to accommodate new students and broken or used up supplies. Back this year, Katie’s Kicks will be joining us for distribution night! They provide new shoes for kids in Ortonville School. No proof of income will be required, we just ask for honest participation so those in need can be served. Parents will bring their kids, and they will be able to try on and pick out a new pair of shoes and backpack if needed. Registration deadline is July 23rd, but the sooner you register the better we can be prepared. Thank you to the businesses, charities, and individuals for your support last year. Your donations make this possible! In 2024 we were able to give 137 backpacks to local students and Katie’s Kicks handed out over 125 pairs of shoes as well! If you or your business would like to donate to this project, please send your tax-deductible donation payable to New Life Community Baptist Church, Attn: Project Backpack, 605 N. Minnesota St., Ortonville, MN 56278. All donors wanting a tax receipt for their donation should supply their name and address and a receipt will be mailed out to them. If you would like to contribute to Katie’s Kicks, donations can be sent or brought to Johnson & Roggenbuck CPAs or to Dairy Queen. If you have any questions or comments, please call or text Samantha Zahn 320-305-2126. Thank you for your support and please spread the word to those who would benefit from Project Backpack or Katie’s Kicks.
